The history of Seccia Engineering Firm stems from a professional journey rooted in technical expertise, hands-on experience, and a constant focus on developments in the engineering sector.
After earning a degree in Construction Engineering and Architecture from the University of L'Aquila in 2006 and obtaining his professional license in 2007, the firm's owner embarked on a path of professional growth that led him to tackle complex design projects and engage with various fields of engineering.
From July 2007 to June 2014, he worked with Studio Pro.im.a. S.r.l., an engineering firm specializing in the design of electrical and mechanical systems. In this role, he consolidated his expertise in systems design, assuming the position of coordinator of the mechanical department in 2012 and developing skills in the management and coordination of technical activities.
In July 2014, he embarked on a new phase of his professional career by founding Seccia-Campana Studio di Ingegneria, based in Pescara on Via Ravenna. Launching his independent practice marked a significant step toward directly managing professional projects, with an approach focused on design quality, specialized consulting, and finding technical solutions tailored to clients' needs.
In August 2019, the firm evolved into the professional firm now known as Seccia Studio di Ingegneria, headquartered in Pescara on Via Castellamare Adriatico. From that point on, the firm's operations took on an increasingly multifaceted nature, capable of integrating expertise in plant engineering, construction, energy, fire protection, and safety.
The firm's accumulated experience is reflected in the variety of projects it has undertaken and in its ability to operate in diverse contexts, including through collaborations with other professionals, engineering firms, and contractors.
Among the firm's most significant projects are fire safety design and retrofitting work for school buildings and healthcare facilities, mechanical and electrical systems projects related to the renovation of public and private buildings, and collaborations on new construction and building restoration projects.
Throughout its history, the firm has participated in projects involving, among others, the Stella Maris housing complex in Montesilvano, hospital facilities of the ASL 02 Chieti-Lanciano-Vasto local health authority, school buildings undergoing fire safety retrofits, and structures used for public and institutional purposes.
In recent years, the firm has further consolidated its position in projects funded through public programs, including those related to the PNRR, providing services related to the design of mechanical systems, energy retrofits, and fire safety.
Notable recent projects include participation in the detailed design for the energy retrofit of the government-owned building housing the fish market at the Port of Ortona and, as the lead firm of a temporary consortium of professionals, the preparation of the fire safety assessment for the "SS. Annunziata" Hospital Complex in Chieti.
In addition to these projects, the firm provides inspection and technical consulting services, expert witness services, safety coordination, and specialized services for condominiums, residential properties, industrial buildings, and service infrastructure.
Studio Seccia's approach is characterized by the progressive integration of diverse areas of expertise, with the goal of addressing technical challenges by taking a holistic view of the building and its systems.
Specialized training, professional experience, and ongoing professional development form the foundation of a practice that demands precision, reliability, and the ability to identify solutions consistent with the characteristics of each project.
Our professional approach is based on analyzing the client's needs, assessing technical and regulatory requirements, and defining the most appropriate design solutions, with a focus on safety, functionality, energy efficiency, and proper project management.
Our expertise across various design disciplines enables the firm to handle complex projects, coordinating the services within our own area of expertise and collaborating with other professionals when the complexity of the project requires it.
